M83 is an electronic music project, started in 2001 by French musician Anthony Gonzalez. With a sound ranging from dreamy shoegaze-inspired melodies to atmospheric, synth-laden anthems, M83 has become known for their ethereal and emotional soundscapes. Their hit single "Midnight City" gained widespread popularity in 2011 and the band has continued to produce critically acclaimed albums and live performances since then.
