Basic Channel is a musical project consisting of German techno producers Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus. They are known for their minimalist and dub-influenced approach to techno music, and are credited with shaping the sound of dub techno. They also run the record label Basic Channel, which has released influential techno records since the early 1990s.
