Ataxia was a short-lived experimental rock band consisting of John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Joe Lally (Fugazi), and Josh Klinghoffer (currently also playing guitar for the Red Hot Chili Peppers). They released their only album "Automatic Writing" in 2004, which features a unique blend of post-punk, funk, and experimental rock. Despite the band's brief existence, Ataxia's music remains highly regarded by fans of alternative and experimental rock.
