The Other People Place was a musical project created by electronic music producer James Stinson in collaboration with his friend Drexciya. The project was active in the early 2000s and was known for its minimalist, atmospheric sound that blended electronic beats with soulful melodies. Stinson's untimely death in 2002 put an end to the project's future releases, but their debut album, Lifestyles of the Laptop Café, is considered a classic of the genre.
