Elephant9 is a Norwegian jazz band formed in 2006. The trio consists of Ståle Storløkken on keyboards, Nikolai Hængsle on bass, and Torstein Lofthus on drums. Their music draws influences from jazz, progressive rock, and electronic music and is known for its high energy and improvisational style. Over the years, Elephant9 has released six albums and has collaborated with several other musicians. They have also received critical acclaim for their live performances.
