Bardo Pond is an American psychedelic rock band formed in Philadelphia in 1991. Comprised of siblings Michael and John Gibbons and their classmate Clint Takeda, Bardo Pond is known for their experimental soundscapes and free-form improvisations. They have released over 20 albums and have collaborated with a range of artists, from indie rockers like Mogwai to underground icons like Acid Mothers Temple. Their music is often characterized by long, spacey guitar riffs, ethereal vocals, and a mesmerizing blend of noise and melody. Despite their underground status, Bardo Pond has developed a devoted following and continues to push the boundaries of psychedelic rock.
