Normil Hawaiians were a post-punk/avant-garde band active in the UK during the 1980s. They were known for their unique sound which combined elements of punk, dub, and folk music. Their lyrics often dealt with political and social issues, including environmentalism and anti-war sentiment. Despite their relatively short career, Normil Hawaiians have maintained a cult following and are considered to be an important influence on later generations of experimental musicians.
