The Lyman Woodard Organization was an American jazz group led by jazz organist Lyman Woodard. The group was active during the 1970s and released multiple albums during their career. Their sound combined elements of jazz, funk, and soul, and featured the use of the Hammond B3 organ as the lead instrument. Despite never achieving mainstream success, the Lyman Woodard Organization's music has continued to receive critical acclaim and is considered a cult classic.
