Lives of Angels was a British post-punk musical group formed in 1981. The band consisted of Gerald O'Connell and a revolving set of other musicians. They achieved moderate success with their debut album Elevator to Eden, which featured a mix of dark, atmospheric compositions and driving rhythms. Their music drew inspiration from artists such as Joy Division, New Order, and The Cure. Despite critical acclaim and a loyal fan base, Lives of Angels disbanded in 1986, leaving behind a catalog of influential and innovative post-punk music.
