Pauline Anna Strom was a pioneering electronic musician and composer who created ambient and new age music in the 1980s and 1990s. She often incorporated the sounds and rhythms of nature into her work, using synthesizers to mimic bird songs, waves, and other natural sounds. Her music has recently seen a resurgence in popularity with the reissue of some of her albums. Strom passed away in 2020 at the age of 74.
