Pinegrove is an indie rock band from New Jersey, formed in 2010. The band's sound blends elements of folk, country, and emo into their upbeat indie rock sound. Known for introspective and emotional lyrics, Pinegrove has released several critically acclaimed albums including their 2016 breakthrough, Cardinal. After a hiatus due to accusations of sexual coercion, the band released their fourth album, Marigold, in January 2020. Despite the controversy, Pinegrove continues to have a dedicated fan base and tour extensively.
