Not Waving is a musical project led by Italian-born, London-based electronic musician Alessio Natalizia. Since debuting in 2011, Not Waving has released a series of acclaimed records that fuse elements of techno, noise, and experimental music, and has collaborated with a range of artists including Mark Lanegan, Colin Newman of Wire, and Jim O’Rourke. Not Waving's sound is characterized by its hypnotic and abrasive qualities, with Natalizia employing a variety of analog and digital synthesis techniques to create immersive soundscapes that are both challenging and exhilarating.
