Editors is an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 2002. The group consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Tom Smith, lead guitarist Chris Urbanowicz, bassist Russell Leetch, and drummer Edward Lay. They gained prominence with their debut album, "The Back Room," released in 2005, which featured hits like "Blood" and "Munich." Editors are known for their atmospheric sound, incorporating elements of post-punk and alternative rock, often characterized by Smith's haunting vocals and intense lyricism.
