Ectomorph is a techno music project formed by Brendan M. Gillen, otherwise known as BMG, in Detroit, Michigan. The project was started in the late 1990s and is known for its unique blend of Detroit techno, electro, and funk elements. Ectomorph's sound is characterized by deep basslines, intricate percussion, and futuristic synth textures, creating a dark and brooding atmosphere. As an active part of the Detroit electronic music scene, Ectomorph has released numerous albums and EPs on various labels, including Interdimensional Transmissions, which is co-owned by BMG.
