The Sea and Cake is an indie rock band formed in Chicago in 1994. Their music combines post-rock, indie pop, and jazz influences, with melodic guitar and synth-driven rhythms. The band consists of Sam Prekop on vocals and guitar, Archer Prewitt on guitar, John McEntire on drums, and Eric Claridge on bass. They have released multiple critically acclaimed albums and continue to tour and record new music.
