Pylon Reenactment Society is an American post-punk and new wave band originally formed in Athens, Georgia in the late 1970s. The band was heavily influenced by the sounds of punk rock and power pop, as well as early electronic music. The group disbanded in the early 1990s, but was revived in 2014 as Pylon Reenactment Society. The band has continued to tour and release new music, honoring the legacy of the original Pylon lineup and their influential sound.
