Augustus Pablo was a Jamaican roots reggae and dub record producer, melodica player, and keyboardist. He was known for his unique style of playing the melodica and his use of the instrument in reggae music. He was a significant figure in the development of dub music in the 1970s and worked with many artists in the Jamaican music industry. Pablo died in 1999 at the age of 44.
