Lower Slaughter is a post-punk band from Bristol, England. Formed in 2016, the band consists of vocalist Sinead Young, guitarist Max Levy, bassist Barney Wakefield, and drummer Leigh Padley. Their music is characterized by dark, intense lyrics and heavy guitar riffs, with influences ranging from Sonic Youth to Nirvana. They have released two studio albums, "What Big Eyes" (2017) and "Some Things Take Work" (2019), and have gained a reputation for their dynamic live performances. Lower Slaughter has been praised for their raw, uncompromising sound and their ability to merge various genres into a unique style.
