Felt was an influential English alternative rock band formed in 1979 by lead singer Lawrence and guitarist Maurice Deebank. Known for their jangly guitar sound and introspective lyrics, they were a part of the C86 movement, which celebrated a lo-fi aesthetic. The band released several albums throughout the 1980s, with "Me and a Monkey on the Moon" and "The Splendour of Fear" being particularly notable.
