Sleaford Mods is an English punk and electronic music duo consisting of vocalist Jason Williamson and musician Andrew Fearn. They formed in 2007 and gained critical success with their politically charged lyrics about working-class life in Britain. Their unique sound combines Williamson's energetic spoken word delivery with Fearn's distorted beats and minimalistic instrumentals. The band has released a number of albums and EPs, and has been praised for their raw and authentic approach to music and social commentary. Sleaford Mods' music has been described as a "modern-day protest music" that speaks to the experiences of the disillusioned and disenfranchised youth in Britain.
